Alun-alun Kota Cimahi Segera Dibongkar, Ini Penjelasan Kepala DPKP

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (CIMAHI),- Alun-alun Kota Cimahi yang jadi icon tempat refreshingnya masyarakat akan dibongkar oleh Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Cimahi, untuk dilakukan revitalisasi kawasan tersebut.

Hal itu diungkapkan Kepala Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Pemukiman (DPKP) Kota Cimahi Endang, pembongkaran yang dilakukan pekan ini akan dimulai dengan material yang besar.

“Pembongkarannya oleh kita (DPKP Kota Cimahi). Kita mulai ngebongkar material yang besar dulu, jadi nanti diratakan dulu,” kata Endang.

Endang juga menjelaskan, pembongkaran tersebut merupakan bagian dari revitalisasi Alun-alun Cimahi yang rencananya akan dimulai tahun 2023. Namun proses revitalisasi akan dilakukan oleh Pemerintahan Provinsi Jawa Barat.

“Tugas DPKP hanya menyiapkan lahan saja, Jadi pas mau dibangun oleh pihak dari provinsi, kita sudah menyiapkan lahannya,”jelasnya.

Berdasarkan informasi yang diterima, bahwa anggaran untuk merevitalisasi Alun-alun Cimahi mencapai sekitar Rp 15 miliar. Anggaran tersebut sepenuhnya bersumber dari Pemprov Jabar.

“Iya anggaran dan pelaksananya juga oleh provinsi, akhir tahun  ini Disperkim Provinsi rencananya akan melelangkan pekerjaan pembangunannya. Mudah-mudahan awal 2023 sudah mulai pekerjaannya,” jelas Endang.

Sebelum melakukan pembongkaran dan revitalisai Alun-alun Cimahi itu, DPKP, akan melakukan sosialisasi terlebih dahulu kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Pendopo DPRD Kota Cimahi Jalan Drs Hj Djulaeha Karmita nomor 5 Kecamatan Cimahi Tengah, Kamis (15/12/2022).

“Kita sosialisasi dulu tentang pembongkaran dan revitalisasi Alun-alun Cimahi,” katanya.

Endang berharap proses pembongkaran hingga revitalisasi Alun-alun Cimahi berjalan lancar dan sesuai rencana. Dia menyebutkan keberadaan sarana publik itu nantinya bisa menjadi lokasi wisata baru bagi warga Cimahi.

“Intinya dibuat sebagai tempat memfasilitasi warga untuk refreshing agar indeks kebahagiaan warga Cimahi meningkat,” tandas Endang. (Bagdja)
