DEPOSTJABAR.COM (CIMAHI).-  Karang Taruna Kelurahan Melong, menggelar Musyawarah Karang Taruna (Muskat) Kelurahan Melong Ke 7, di Aula Kelurahan Melong Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan, Sabtu (15/7/2023).

Mantan Ketua Karang Taruna Kelurahan Melong Agus Herdiana (Incumbent) tidak mencalonkan kembali dalam pemilihan Ketua Karang Taruna,maka calon Ketua Karang Taruna yang diajukan oleh para anggotanya hanya dua Calon, 1. Rizki Ahmad Subagja, S.Ip, yang akrab kesehariannya dipanggil Ken. 2. Eka Gharini.

Dalam pemilihan Ketua Karang Taruna tersebut berjalan lancar, dari 24 orang yang memiliki hak pilih, akhirnnya  Ken mendapatkan suara sebanyak 22 suara, dan Eka Gharini mendapatkan suara sebanyak 2 suara, dan 1 yang abstain (tidak memilih keduanya).

Ken merasa bersyukur atas terpilih dirinya menjadi Ketua Karang Taruna Kelurahan Melong ini.

“Alhamdulillah dalam Musyawarah Karang Taruna Pemilihan Ketua, berjalan lancar, aman dan tertib, namun hal ini berat bagi saya karena ini merupakan amanah yang harus dijalankan oleh saya dan semua pihak,” ucap Ken.

Ken berharap, berjalannya roda organisasi Karang Taruna ini dapat dipikul bersama-sama dengan anggota dan pengurus. “Karena Karang Taruna Kelurahan Melong kedepannya harus lebih baik lagi, dan dapat mengayomi masyarakat lebih baik lagi, dalam kepengurusan juga harus transparan dalam berbagai hal demi kemajuan Karang Taruna Kelurahan Melong ini lebih maju, Ngahiji, dan berkualitas,” harap Ken.

Selanjutnya, kata Ken, di Kelurahan  Melong itu ada 36 RW, RW terbanyak di Kota Cimahi, maka dari itu Karang Taruna diharapkan dapat berperan aktif untuk membantu Pemerintah dalam menghadapi permasalahan sosial di Kota Cimahi, khususnya di Kelurahan Melong,” tandasnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Karang Taruna Kota Cimahi , Bilal Insani menyarankan, peran Karang Taruna itu sangat membantu dalam pengembangan pemuda di Kota Cimahi. “Dengan akan dihadapinya bonus demografi, diharapkan Karang Taruna Kota Cimahi dan Kelurahan, dapat kondusif, dan dapat makin berkembang setelah adanya pergantian ketua,” tegas Bilal.
