DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Pelaksana Haran (Plh) Gubernur Jawa Barat, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum membuka Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an dan Hadist (STQH) XVIII Tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat Tahun 2023 di Plaza Pusdai Jabar, Kota Bandung, Minggu (7/5/2023).

Uu Ruzhanul menuturkan, kegiatan keagamaan di Provinsi Jabar semakin diminati masyarakat baik yang bersifat seremonial maupun pendidikan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan banyaknya lembaga pendidikan seperti pesantren yang terus berkembang menjadi lebih baik.

“Ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Jabar keimanan dan ketakwaannya meningkat, begitu pula dengan amaliah, insyaallah meningkat,” kata Uu.

Ia menjelaskan, Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an dan Hadist (STQH) merupakan salah satu cara meningkatkan syiar Islam di Jabar. Terlebih pada pelaksanaan STQH tiap tahunnya terus bertambah jumlah pesertanya, artinya semakin banyak generasi muda yang paham bidang keagamaan.

“Oleh karena itu saya atas nama Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat mengucapkan terima kasih pada Bupati dan Wali Kota yang telah melaksanakan seleksi di tingkat kecamatan dan diteruskan ke tingkat kabupaten dan kota,” ungkap Uu.
