DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Piala Asia U20 2023 nggak lama lagi, tetapi beberapa rintangannya masih dihadapi pelatih Timnas Indonesia Shin Tae-yong (STY). Beberapa di antaranya, yang dipanggil untuk mengikuti pemusatan latihan (TC) belum semuanya datang.

Selain itu, juga ada kendala termasuk friksi, antara Shin Tae-yong dan pelatih klub. Padahal, Piala AFC U20 2023 akan bergulir pada 1 hingga 8 Maret 2023, dan Timnas Indonesia tergabung di Grup A.

Lawan yang dihadapinya juga berat, selain ada tuan rumah Uzbekistan, disana juga ada Irak dan Suriah.

Bagi Indonesia, Piala Asia U20 2023 penting sebab menjadi bagian dari persiapan untuk Piala Dunia U20 2023. Apalagi di laga tersebut, Indonesia menjadi tuan rumahnya.

Asisten Pelatih Timnas Indonesia U20, Nova Arianto mengatakan Shin Tae-yong sudah memanggil 30 pemain untuk menjalani TC sebagai persiapan tampil di Piala Asia U20.

Hanya saja, kata Nova, tidak semua pemain yang dipanggil itu bisa merapat. Jumlah yang tidak hadir, tergolong banyak.

“Sebelas pemain belum bergabung,” katanya.

Namun, Nova Arianto tidak menyebut siapa saja pemain yang belum bergabung. Namun ada satu pemain yang dipastikan belum datang yaitu Marselino Ferdinan.

Selain itu, juga ada nama Ronaldo Kwateh. Sebab dikonfirmasi Madura United, Ronaldo kini tengah menjajaki peluang untuk bergabung dengan salah satu klub Turki.

Soal, keputusan Shin Tae-yong menggelar TC jangka panjang juga banyak mendapatkan keluhan dari pelatih klub Liga 1. Thomas Doll dari Persija dan Bernardo Tavares dari PSM Makassar.

Doll kritis karena yang dipanggil Shin Tae-yong untuk mengikuti pemusatan latihan jangka panjang, terlampau banyak pemain Persija-nya.

“Saya merasa Shin Tae-yong tidak paham soal ini. Sebab, saya juga tidak tahu kapan mereka harus dilepas. Ini kompetisi, bukan latihan saja. Kalau pemusatan latihan, itu hanya latihan, latihan, dan latihan tanpa ada rasa kompetisi,” kata Thomas Doll.

Kritik Doll dan Tavares juga sudah ditanggapi Shin Tae-yong. Pelatih asal Korsel itu merasa sikap Doll hanya untuk kepentingannya sendiri.
