Menurutnya, penggunaan helikopter yang dimiliki TNI AU bisa menyasar berbagai pelosok Cianjur untuk memberikan pertolongan.
“Alhamdulillah, saya diberi kesempatan untuk memberikan materi kepada para komandan satuan-satuan di TNI AU atas undangan Kepala Staf TNI AU. Kami ucapkan terima kasih dalam kebencanaan helikopter-helikopter TNI AU menjangkau daerah terpencil, sesekali saya juga ikut menyampaikan bantuan,” kata Ridwan Kamil saat menjadi narasumber dalam acara Apel Komandan Satuan TNI AU 2022 dengan tema Peran Komandan Satuan dalam Mewujudkan Sinergitas Forkopimda Guna Meningkatkan Ketahanan Wilayah di Satuan, di Gedung Widya Mandala Sesko AU Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Senin (12/12/2022).
Maka dari itu, Kang Emil sapaan akrab Ridwan Kamil mengapresiasi kolaborasi yang dihadirkan oleh TNI AU terutama dalam membantu masyarakat Cianjur.
“Atas nama masyarakat Cianjur, saya haturkan terima kasih dan sukses selalu untuk keluarga besar TNI AU. Kita saling mendukung demi keutuhan NKRI,” imbuhnya.
Gubernur pada kesempatan itu juga menegaskam untuk menjaga kondusivitas wilayah Jawa Barat menjelang pergantian tahun 2022 menuju 2023.
