DEPOSTJABAR.COM (TASIKMALAYA).- Penjabat (PJ) Walikota Tasikmalaya ,Cheka Virgowansyah mengingatkan jajarannya untuk senantiasa waspada terhadap makanan-makanan berbahaya. Hal itu diungkapkannya menyusul maraknya kasus terjadi di beberapa wilayah terhadap makanan Chiki Ngebul (chikbul) , salah satu makanan ringan berisi nitrogen cair.
“Saya mendapatkan laporan ada satu makanan yang membahayakan, kalau membahayakan apalagi di Jawa Barat ini adalah kasus yang paling banyak, merusak tenggorokan, merusak lambung bahkan sering lambung bocor, sudah saya minta nanti ke Dinas Kesehatan apalagi sudah ada suratnya dari Kementerian Kesehatan itu larang (atau) dilarang, dan saya minta orang tua maupun guru untuk mengawasi,” ujar Cheka, Rabu (18/1/2023).
Selain Chikbul, ia juga meminta Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) terkait, untuk mengawasi makanan-makanan lain khususnya yang ada di lingkungan sekolah. Ia menginstruksikan Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes), Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) dan Satpol PP untuk terjun ke lapangan memeriksa keamanan makanan-makanan tadi.
“Ini harus segera turun, dinas kesehatan turun keliling ke sekolah-sekolah, dan saya juga minta bantuan dari dinas pendidikan, satpol PP juga, karena kita mempersiapkan mengeluarkan dana yang besar stunting, sedangkan yang anak-anak kita yang sudah besar, yang 6 tahun, 7 tahun, 12 tahun kita biarkan badannya rusak ini juga (perlu diperhatikan),” ucapnya.
Hal tersebut dilakukan, karena dirinya tidak mau nantinya anak-anak masa depan bangsa mudah sakit di usia produktifnya.
“Hari ini mungkin tidak terasa hari ini masih sehat, ginjalnya masih sehat jantungnya masih sehat, tapi kita nggak tahu dengan 40 tahun lagi dengan makanan-makanan yang berbahaya, bisa jadi mereka oke dari usia produktif 40 tahun, tapi bisa jadi sesungguhnya tidak produktif karena sakit-sakitan,” katanya
Sehingga ia mengajak semua pihak untuk turun ke lapangan, karena memiliki berbagai penunjang mulai dari kendaraan laboratoriumnya hingga tenaga gizinya pun dimiliki oleh Pemkot.
“Jadi secara fisik kita persiapkan, kemudian otaknya pun harus kita persiapan, pemikiran pun harus kita persiapkan, makanya betul kita memerlukan ruang atau kelas yang baik, tetapi sesungguhnya yang lebih dari itu adalah bagaimana anak-anak kita mempunyai kecerdasan, mempunyai pemikiran yang lebih baik dari pada generasi kita generasi sebelum mereka,” tandasnya.(M.Kris)
