DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Penataan dan pemeliharaan Kawasan dan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar diperpanjang dan akan dibuka kembali pada 1 Ramadan 1444 Hijriah. Adapun 1 Ramadan tahun ini masih menunggu hasil Sidang Isbat Kementerian Agama.
Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat, Setiawan Wangsaatmaja menuturkan, perpanjangan waktu penataan dan pemeliharaan tersebut bertujuan untuk menciptakan kenyamanan beribadah dan menghadirkan pelayanan yang baik saat Bulan Ramadan.
“Hal ini dilakukan agar saat Bulan Ramadan tiba, masyarakat dapat beribadah di Masjid Raya Al Jabbar dengan tenang, tertib, dan nyaman,” ucap Setiawan. di Kota Bandung, Jumat (10/3/2023).
Sebelumnya, Kawasan dan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar ditutup sementara untuk penataan dan pemeliharaan selama dua pekan, dari 27 Februari pukul 00:00 WIB sampai 13 Maret 2023. Namun karena berbagai pertimbangan, pembukaan Kawasan dan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar ditunda sampai 1 Ramadan 1444 Hijriah.
Setiawan mengatakan, penataan dan pemeliharaan Kawasan dan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar mencakup semua aspek, seperti perbaikan sejumlah kerusakan akibat tingginya animo jemaah yang datang, pemeliharaan taman tematik, kolam retensi, area luar dan dalam Masjid Raya Al Jabbar.
“Hampir semua aspek kita lakukan penataan, perbaikan, dan pemeliharaan. Perbaikan dan penataan Kawasan Al Jabbar terutama dilakukan agar pada saat Bulan Ramadan, jemaah bisa khusyu beribadah tanpa gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban,” tutur Setiawan.
Atas perpanjangan penutupan sementara Kawasan dan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar, Setiawan menyampaikan permohonan maaf dan meminta pengertian kepada masyarakat.
