Madinda Tiba di Bandung: Saya akan Berikan Segalanya untuk Persib

Levy Clement Madinda, gelandang kelahiran Libreville, 22 Juni 1992 yang didatangkan Persib dari klub Malaysia, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) status pinjaman. ( foto:laman Persib).

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Skuad anyar Persib Levy Clement Madinda sudah menuntaskan dokumen imigrasinya dan sudah tiba di Bandung pada Minggu 30 Juli 2023.

Karena itulah, Madinda siap bergabung dengan rekan satu tim pada sesi latihan Senin 31 Juli 2023, sore. Jika tidak ada perubahan tempat, latihan akan dilakukan di Stadion Sidolig.

Madinda juga mengucapkan selamat atas kemenangan perdana Persib atas Persik pada pekan ke-5 Liga 1 2023/2024.

“Pertama, selamat untuk tim yang di pertandingan kemarin meraih kemenangan. Itu sangat bagus dan telah menambah kepercayaan diri semua orang. Besok akan menjadi bab baru untuk saya dan saya siap memberikan segalanya,” ungkap Levy, Minggu, 30 Juli 2023.

Dijelaskan Madinda menerangkan, sudah mencari tahu banyak hal soal Persib dan sepakbola Indonesia. Menurutnya, pengalaman bermain di Malaysia sejak tahun 2021 akan menjadi modal untuk cepat beradaptasi terhadap tim.

“Saya sudah tahu bagaimana Persib bermain dan permainan tim-tim Indonesia. Saya juga sudah bertemu pelatih Bojan Hodak yang sebelumnya bekerja di Malaysia. Jadi, kami punya hubungan yang sangat baik,” katanya.

Di momen latihan perdana Madinda nanti, pelatih baru Bojan Hodak juga akan memimpin klub untuk pertama kalinya. 

Hodak sesungguhnya, sudah mendampingi tim—meski hanya dari tempat duduk penonton, tepatnya saat Persib untuk pertama kalinya dapat 3 poin. Di laga kontra Persik Jumat 28 Juli 2023.

Kini tugas pelatih asal Kroasia itu mendongkrak performa Maung Bandung pergi ke papan atas klasemen.

Sebagaimana diketahui, Levy Madinda diumumkan Persib pada 20 Juli lalu atau pada hari terakhir jelang penutupan bursa transfer Liga 1 2023-2024.

Madinda diplot sebagai pengganti Tyronne del Pino yang harus menepi dalam waktu yang lama karena cedera tendon achilles. 

Cedera tersebut dialami Tyronne saat melakukan debut di Persib melawan Madura United. 

Karena pemulihannya yang cukup lama, ia dipersilakan menjalani pemulihan di Spanyol agar dekat bersama keluarganya. 

Sembari menunggu Tyronne pulih, Persib akan memakai jasa Madinda yang dipinjam dari klub asal Malaysia Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) hingga Desember 2023. 

Selama periode Februari-Juli 2023 ini, Madinda menghabiskan setengah musim di Liga Super Malaysia 2023 bersama Negeri Sembilan FC. 

Ya Persib meminjam pemain timnas Gabon itu dari JDT saat Madinda juga sedang dalam status dipinjamkan ke Negeri Sembilan FC.

Ia mampu menyumbang satu gol dan lima assist dari 15 penampilannya di sana.  (Aris)
