DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Timnas U23 Indonesia dibantai 0-3 oleh Vietnam pada SEA Games ke-31 lalu. Kondisi itu memang menyakitkan, untuk itu misi balas dendam pun dikumandangkan.

Skuad Termuda Timnas Indonesia, Marselino Ferdinan menyampaikan hal tersebut di atas saat wawancara dengan wartawan terkait tekadnya di laga kontra Vietnam pada leg 1 Semifinal Piala AFF 2023.

Laga Indonesia Vs Vietnam akan berlangsung di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK) Jakarta, Jumat 6 Januari 2023 pukul 16.30 WIB.

Skuad asal Persebaya Surabaya mengungkap misi balas dendam itu karena saat itu dia juga ikut berlaga di Skuad Timnas U23 Indonesia. Saat itu pertandingannya berlangsung di Vietnam.

“Di SEA Games waktu itu pertandingan pertama (fase grup) lawan Vietnam. Itu sangat susah, apalagi tandingnya di markas mereka,” kata Marselino.

Oleh karenanya, tanpa mengentengkan kekuatan lawan, Marselino menyebut tim senior Vietnam juga tak kalah berbahaya dengan Timnas U23 Vietnam.

Beruntung, pemain kelahiran Jakarta 9 September 2004 janji akan fokus bertanding, agar bisa menang. Tidak ingin memikirkan kekuatan lawan terlebih dahulu.

“Terus untuk melihat kekuatan vietnam di level senior cukup baik, kita tidak bisa menggampangkan itu, tapi kami fokus pada tim sendiri, kami fokus kerja sendiri,” ucap Marselino.

“Kami bekerja keras dan berusaha di home kami yang awal ini. Kami akan mengambil 3 poin dan siap maksimal di laga awal ini,” sambungnya.

Pelatih Timnas Indonesia, Shin Tae-yong tegaskan anak asuhnya harus melupakan amarah serta kegagalan di masa lalu.

Juru taktik berusia 52 tahun ini juga optimistis Tim Garuda mampu tampil lebih baik di semifinal usai menjalani berbagai sesi latihan.

“Sekarang, para pemain pun harus bisa melupakan masa lalu. (Mereka) sudah latihan juga selama dua hari, dan hari ini terutama untuk finishing gol,” tuturnya.

“Secara umum, pertandingan (Timnas Indonesia) sudah lumayan baik, begitu pula finishing-nya. Pertandingan besok juga pasti akan lebih baik lagi,” katanya.”Saya akan mempersiapkan (skuad) supaya tidak ada lagi kata ‘kita tidak beruntung’ atau ‘tidak baik’ dalam finishing gol,” tutupnya. (Aris)
