DEPOSTJABAR.COM (CIMAHI).- Pemerintah Kota Cimahi melalui Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi memberikan bantuan Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) dan Perlengkapan Belajar Siswa untuk jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP).

Penyerahan secara simbolis kepada siswa-siswi SD, SMP di Aula Gedung A Pemkot Cimahi, Jum’at (24/12/2022) langsung oleh Pejabat Walikota Cimahi, Dikdik S. Nurgahawan didampingi Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi Harjono.

Dikdik usai menyerahkan secara simbolis bantuan tersebut menyampaikan, dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di tingkat nasional maupun daerah, yang mengacu pada amanat Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945 yang menerangkan bahwa setiap warga negara berhak mendapatkan pendidikan dan setiap warga negara wajib mengikuti pendidikan dasar, dan pemerintah wajib membiayainya.

“Undang-Undang Basar Negara Repubiik Indonesia tahun 1945 juga mengamanatkan alokasi anggaran minimal 20% dari APBN dan APBD untuk kebutuhan penyelenggaraan pendidikan nasional. Implementasi kebijakan pendidikan di daerah akan berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung oleh pembiayaan pendidikan yang memadai dan dapat diandalkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia,”jelasnya.

Menurut Dikdik, salah satu dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda bangsa Indonesia di bidang pendidikan adalah meningkatnya data siswa penerima bantuan akibat menurunnya kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat atau keluarga terdampak pada menurunnya kondisi siswa sebagai anggota keluarga yang sedang mengikuti pendidikan disekolah. Jumlah tersebut didasarkan dari data DTKS (Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial) tahun 2022.

“Mudah-mudahan Program bantuan ini dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa serta mengurangi angka putus sekolah khususnya di Kota Cimahi serta pemerataan layanan pendidikan” tutur Dikdik.

Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi Harjono dalam laporannya menyampaikan bahwa pemberian bantuan sumbangan pembinaan pendidikan (SPP) dimaksudkan untuk membantu siswa SD maupun SMP yang namanya tercantum pada Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS).

Hal itu, lanjut Harjono, sebagai bagian dari upaya pemerataan pendidikan yang bermutu bagi setiap masyarakat tanpa diskriminasi. Memberikan layanan perluasan akses dan kemudahan biaya pendidikan yang terjangkau bagi masyarakat. Menjamin berlangsungnya proses pendidikan untuk berkembangnya potensi peserta didik di Kota Cimahi.

“Pemberian perlengkapan belajar siswa bertujuan untuk pemenuhan Standar Pelayanan Minimal (SPM) pendidikan kepada peserta didik jenjang SD dan SMP yang terdaftar pada DTKS,”jelasnya. (Bagdja)
