Kadisdik Wahyu Mijaya: Jabar Prioritaskan Pembangunan SMA/SMK di 33 Kecamatan

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat memprioritaskan pembangunan SMA/SMK baru di 33 kecamatan di Jabar.

Menurut Kepala Dinas Pendidikan  (Kadisdik) Jabar, Wahyu Mijaya, pembangunan SMA/SMK negeri di 33 kecamatan itu akan dimulai pada 2024.

“Kita bangun secara bertahap, mulai tahun 2024, 2025, dan 2026 sesuai dengan kemampuan anggaran. Sebenarnya, berdasarkan data ada sekitar 130 kecamatan yang membutuhkan SMA/SMK baru. Dari jumlah tersebut sebanyak 33 kecamatan yang kita prioritaskan,” kata Wahyu Mijaya usai peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional 2023 Tingkat Provinsi Jabar di Lapangan Gasibu, Kota Bandung, Selasa (2/5/2023).

Tanpa merinci nama kecamatannya, namun menurut Wahyu, 33 kecamatan itu tersebar hampir di 27 kabupaten/kota di Jabar.

“Tersebar, tidak hanya di wilayah kabupaten, tetapi ada pula di wilayah kota seperti Bekasi,” ujarnya.

Wahyu menjelaskan, pembangunan atau pengadaan SMA/SMK baru itu tidak seluruhnya membangun yang baru, tetapi ada juga yang mengubah statusnya dari swasta ke negeri, seperti pengadaan SLB.

“Di Bogor ada 2 SLB swasta yang kita ubah statusnya menjadi negeri. Pola semacam itu juga kita lakukan,” tegasnya.

Wahyu berharap pembangunan SMA/SMK negeri tersebut juga diikuti penambahan sekolah-sekolah swasta agar lulusan SMP lebih banyak lagi yang terserap ke jenjang berikutnya. (Her).
