Sebagaimana diketahui, di awal-awal kompetisi sepakbola elite tingkat Indonesia berhenti, gegara tragedi Kanjuruhan, Persib tidak meliburkan skuadnya.
Saat Macan Kemayoran libur, panjang. Maung Bandung pilih jalan berbeda, Persib hanya libur 3 hari lalu latihan kembali selama 4 hari, trus libur 3 hari dan latihan lagi selama 4 hari.
Kini, Liga 1 sudah berhenti 18 hari, tapi belum juga ada kepastian kapan kompetisi akan bergulir lagi. Yang baru memberikan woro-woro soal kickoff, hanya Anggota Exco PSSI.
Yoyok Sukawi menjelaskan, kompetisi kasta pertama sepakbola Indonesia baru akan mulai lagi per 7 November 2022. Mungkin karena alasan itu juga Luis Milla akhirnya kasih pengumuman libur Marck Klok dan kawan-kawan diperpanjang hingga 23 Oktober 2022.
“Tanggal 24 hingga 30 Oktober 2022. Ada program khusus buat pemain,” kata Milla sebagaimana dilansir dari laman resmi klub.
Sebelumnya, saat Liga 1 dihentikan sementara, Luis Milla memberikan program latihan dengan tempo tinggi. Pada akhir pekan bahkan digelar laga uji coba demi mematangkan taktik.
Berbeda dari Persija Jakarta yang memberikan libur panjang, mantan pelatih timnas Indonesia ini menilai jika libur yang panjang membuat pemain menjadi kurang maksimal saat kembali berlatih.
Namun, karena masih belum ada kejelasan, akhirnya Persib Bandung mendapatkan waktu libur yang lebih panjang. “Kalau tidak salah Persija meliburkan tim selama 10 hari. Sementara saya mempunyai gagasan dengan meliburkan tim selama tiga hari dan kini akan berlatih empat hari.”
“Nantinya di akhir pekan kami akan meliburkan tim tiga hari lagi.”
“Tujuannya supaya tidak punya terlalu banyak waktu untuk berleha-leha. Bagi saya lebih baik seperti itu,” pungkasnya. (Aris)
