Setelah mengucapkan terimakasih, Aria dan Kakaknya Ririn bergegas pulang. Pada malam harinya, ritual pun disiapkan. Orang pintar meminta jika Ririn berontak, segera lepaskan tali pocongnya.
Aria kebagian memegangi kaki Ririn.
Ritual kali ini adalah untuk memindahkan jin penguasa tambang ke mantel, sarang barunya. Tapi ritual ini juga sebenarnya langkah akhir pemusnahan jin dari keluarga Ririn.
Ada 20 sampai 30 orang pingtar yang membantu ritual ini. Ritual ini memiliki resiko yang sangat berat. Pilihannya Ririn selamat, ritual gagal, jinnya pergi, dan yang terakhir adalah Ririn mati.
Sebelum ritual dimulai, Kakak Ririn menangis dan meminta untuk menukar nyawanya dengan Ririn jika ritual ini gagal. Semua orang yang mendengar hal tersebut menjadi terharu dan ikut menangis.
Tengah malam pun tiba, tubuh Ririn sudah berubah jadi pocong. Ssaat itulah ia berontak dan marah besar karena merasa di keroyok oleh banyak orang pintar.
Secara tiba-tiba, angina berhembus dengan kencang dan terdengar suara tawa yang sangat khas. Itu adalah ulah jinpenguasa tambang. Sambil terus tertawa, jin penguasa tambang sambil terus bicara “hahahaha bodoh, dasar tidaj punya otak, belajar lagi sana” menertawakan para orang pintar.
