DEPOSTJABAR.COM (PURWAKARTA).- Gubernur Jawa Barat Ridwan Kamil meresmikan gedung Pusat Distribusi Provinsi (PDP) yang berada di Jl. Raya Purwakarta-Subang KM 14, Desa Cilandak, Kecamatan Cibatu, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Rabu (25/1/2023). PDP Jabar akan menyimpan cadangan semua komoditas pangan yang jadi kebutuhan warga.

“Hari ini pertama di Indonesia, Jabar punya pusat distribusi provinsi, nanti semua komoditas pangan yang jadi kebutuhan warga cadangannya kita simpan di sini,” ucap Kang Emil –sapaan Ridwan Kamil.

Kang Emil menuturkan, tujuan utama PDP adalah stabilisasi harga bahan pokok dengan cara mengintervensi ketika ada kenaikan. PDP akan langsung mendistribusikan bahan pangan ke daerah di Jabar yang terjadi kenaikan harga. Dengan begitu, inflasi dapat dikendalikan.

“Kalau ada kenaikan harga di pasar di wilayah Jabar, maka tim quick response-nya dari PDP langsung datang sehingga kenaikan yang tidak wajar di sebuah wilayah bisa kita intervensi,” katanya.

Menurut Kang Emil, sebelum ada PDP, proses intervensi terhadap kenaikan harga bahan pangan cukup rumit. Adanya PDP, proses tersebut akan lebih mudah dan cepat. Adapun untuk mengetahui harga pangan terkini, masyarakat dapat mengakses SI LINDA (Sistem Informasi Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah) Jabar yang sudah terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi harga di kabupaten/kota.

“Dulu ketika tidak punya PDP, jadi bingung menelepon pemilik suplai makanan, melobi-lobi. Kalau gini, saya tenang karena punya gudang yang isinya segala rupa,” tuturnya.

Adapun pemilihan Purwakarta sebagai lokasi PDP mengingat secara geografis berada di tengah Jabar dan banyak terlintasi oleh ruas jalan tol. Dengan demikian, distribusi ke wilayah Cirebon, Bandung dan wilayah lainnya akan lebih mudah dan cepat.

“Secara geografis ruas jalan tol paling banyak melintasi daerah Purwakarta, jadi ke arah Bandung, Cirebon maupun Jakarta itu mudah,” kata Kang Emil.

PDP sendiri bakal dikelola BUMD Jabar PT Agro Jabar (Perseroda) yang akan bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak. Sistem pengelolaannya pun akan memaksimalkan digitalisasi.

Dalam peresmian tersebut, Kang Emil didampingi Bupati Purwakarta, perwakilan dari Dirjen Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Kementerian Perdagangan RI dan Badan Pangan Nasional, melepas pendistribusian beras dari PDP ke Kabupaten Bogor.(Her)
