DEPOSTJABAR,- Situ Bagendit merupakan salah satu objek wisata yang berada di Garut, Jawa Barat. Tepatnya di Desa Bagendit, Kecamatan Banyuresmi. Nama Situ Bagendit sendiri berasal dari kata Situ yang di Bahasa Sunda artinya Danau dan Bagendit yang artinya Nyai Endit.

Kekayaan Nyai Endit ini berasal dari warisan suaminya yang sudah meninggal. Semua petani di desa sangat takut dan tunduk pada Nyai Endit karena ia memiliki banyak centeng yang sangat setia kepadanya. Para centeng-centeng Nyai Endit memiliki tubuh yang sangat kekar dan sering menindas orang yang lemah.
