Persiapan Piala Dunia, Timnas U17 Indonesia Gelar Pemusatan Latihan di Jerman

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (BANDUNG).- Timnas Indonesia untuk Piala Dunia U17 matangkan persiapan dengan gelar pemusatan latihan (TC) ke Jerman. Sebelum berangkat Garuda Asia duel dulu dengan Korea Selatan (Korsel)

Ketum PSSI, Erick Thohir mengatakan, Indonesia serius menyiapkan perhelatan Piala Dunia U17 pada November 2023, mendatang.

Sebagai tuan rumah, Timnas U17 Indonesia pasti, turut tampil diperhelatan level dunia tersebut, oleh karenanya Garuda Asia harus melakoni uji coba tanding terlebih dahulu, sebelum berangkat ke Jerman.

Lawan yang sudah dijajaki untuk melakukan uji coba tanding lawan Timnas U17 Indonesia, kata Erick, adalah Timnas Korea Selatan.

Rencananya, terang Erick uji coba Indonesia lawan Korea Selatan itu akan diselenggarakan pada akhir Agustus 2023 di Indonesia.

Timnas U17 Korsel sendiri, ujar Erick juga sudah menyatakan kesiapannya, kini PSSI tinggal menunggu tanggal mainnya.

“In Syaa Allah, kita akan gelar pertandingan persahabatan antara Timnas U17 lawan dengan Timnas Korea Selatan U17  pada Agustus ini. Tanggal pertandingannya antara 20 sampai 30 Agustus,” katanya di Menara Danareksa, Jakarta, Kamis 20 Juli 2023.

“Slot 10 hari ini, Korea Selatan sudah oke tinggal tanggal pastinya saja karena ini kan bertabarakan dengan Liga, kalau bertabrakan lapangan kan susah. Korsel juga sedang hitung persiapan,” terangnya.

Setelah tanding dengan Korsel, Garuda Asia langsung menjalani TC di Jerman, dengan beberapa program, yakni uji coba dengan tim-tm ternama di Jerman.

Selain menyiapkan Garuda Asia, kata Erick, PSSI juga akan menyiapkan pemain yang akan tampil pada Piala AFF U23. Yang gelarannya, akan belangsung pada 17-22 Agustus 2023 di  Thailand.

Bedanya dalam ajang ini, PSSI tidak memberikan target tinggi mengingat fokusnya untuk tampil pada kualifikasi Piala Asia U23 yang bergulir pada 6-12 September 2023 di Solo.

“Lalu tambahan AFF U23 di Thailand tanggal 17-22 Agustus tanpa target, kita akan mempersiapkan tim yang memang kita mau lakukan untuk mengisi persiapan U23 yuaitu AFC U23 (kualifikasi),” katanya.

“Bukan tim inti, ini jadi sasaran antara supaya mereka bisa beradaptasi sehingga ada pemain-pemain yang bisa kita siapkan karena banyak risiko untuk pemain,” beber Erick.

“Termasuk untuk Asian Games di Hangzhou, September dan Oktober, itu sasaran antara juga karena sejak awal kami memberanikan diri tidak mungkin memaksakan pemain kita main di semua kompetisi dan maksimal, prioritas kita itu adalah AFC U23,” tutup Erick Thohir. (Aris)
