KPU Kota Tasikmalaya Bentuk TPS Khusus, Begini Penjelasannya

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (TASIKMALAYA).- Dalam rangka melindungi hak pilih warga negara yang sedang menjalani masa tahanan di dalam Lapas, KPU Kota Tasikmalaya akan membentuk TPS Khusus.

Hal itu diungkapkan ketua KPU Kota Tasikmalaya Dr Ade Zaenul Mutaqin, M.Ag di kantornya Jalan SKP Kota Tasikmalaya, Senin(6/3/2023).

Menurut Ade, Langkah tersebut diambil berdasarkan pada Peraturan KPU Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 Pasal 179 yang menyatakan, KPU Kabupaten/Kota dapat menyusun Daftar Pemilih di lokasi Khusus.

Kata dia, TPS di lokasi khusus tersebut diperuntukan bagi pemilih yang tidak dapat menggunakan hak pilihnya di TPS asal pada hari pemungutan suara. Lokasi khusus tersebut salah satunya adalah rumah tahanan atau lapas.

Hal tersebut, kata Ade,  berdasarkan hasil koordinasi antara KPU Kota Tasikmalaya dengan Lapas Kota Tasikmalaya, terdapat sekitar 369 warga binaan yang ada di Lapas tersebut. Dengan jumlah tersebut, maka direncanakan pembentukan TPS di lapas sebanyak dua TPS.

Bahkan data pemilih yang telah diterima oleh KPU tersebut selanjutnya akan dianalisis dan diidentifikasi untuk memastikan identitasnya, sehingga dapat diketahui alamat asalnya.

“Hal itu dilakukan karena warga binaan tersebut tidak semua berasal dari Kota Tasikmalaya dan dokumen identitisaya tidak lengkap. Untuk diklasifikasikan berdasarakan jenis hak pilihnya,” katanya.

“Maka untuk memudahkan proses tersebut KPU Kota Tasikmalaya berkoordinasi dengan Disdukcapil Kota Tasikmalaya. Bagi warga binaan yang tidak ada Nomor Identitas Kependudukan (NIK) akan dilakukan pengecekan ke dalam data SIAK atau cek biometrik

Dijelaskan Ade, data pemilih tersebut akan terus diamutakhirkan, karena sifatnya dinamis. Dari sekarang sampai dengan hari pemungutan suara tidak menutup kemungkinan ada yang keluar, karena selesai masa tahanannya, dan atau ada masuk.

Selain di Lapas, KPU Kota Tasikmalaya sedang melakukan pendataan di lokasi khusus lainnya, yakni panti sosial, panti rehabilitasi termasuk pesantren yang berpotensi untuk dibentuk TPS khusus.

Adapun kriteria pembentukan TPS di lokasi khusus yakni terdapat Pemilih yang pada hari pemungutan suara tidak dapat menggunakan hak pilihnya sesuai dengan domisili di KTP.
