Polres Tasikmalaya Tetapkan Pelaku Investasi Bodong Sebagai Tersangka, Ini Jumlah dan Kerugian Korban

DEPOSTJABAR.COM (TASIKMALAYA).- Pelaku investasi bodong yang sempat gegerkan warga Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya berinisial WW kini ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan telah ditahan di Mapolres Tasikmalaya. 

Kapolres Tasikmalaya, AKBP Suhardi Hery Heryanto, saat konferensi pers di halaman Mapolres Tasikmalaya menjelaskan, pelaku telah dikenakan  pasal 378 dan juga pasal 3 Undang-undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 8 tahun 2008 Tentang Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang dengan ancaman hukuman penjara di atas 5 tahun.

“Kita juga telah berhasil mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti yakni 3 unit HP, 1 unit Laptop, 4 buah buku rekening, print out transaksi keuangan, 1 unit kalkulator, screnshoot percakapan, 1 buah kalung emas liontin gembok dengan berat 2,310 gram beserta nota pembelian dan satu lembar kertas ucapan,”jelas Kapolres Tasikmalaya, Kamis (1/12/2022).

Korban penipuan investasi bodong dengan modus gunakan aplikasi e-Commerce belanja online sekitar 600 orang, dengan total kerugian mencapai Rp 2,3 Miliar.

Menurut dia, pelaku WW ini telah melakukan penipuan ini sejak Februari sampai November 2022 (10 bulan) dengan skema penipuan piramida ini dilakukan WW dengan cara mengajak masyarakat untuk jadi membernya bisa dicairkan.

“Hal tersebut dilakukan supaya korban melakukan pembelanjaan fiktif dengan menggunakan jasa pemilik toko online di aplikasi e-Commerce,”kata Suhardi Hery.

Bahkan para korban dijanjikan cicilannya akan dilunasi oleh WW, dengan alasan bahwa pinjaman tersebut dikelola toko offline milik WW sendiri.

“Dan modus tersebut berkembang menjadi skema bisnis baru berupa deposit dengan bunga sebesar 30 persen dan Skema tersebut digunakan untuk menutupi tagihan pinjaman online dan digunakan juga untuk keperluan pribadi dan pelaku pandai merangkai kata kata bohong, sehingga para korbannya mau berutang kepada aplikasi pinjaman online,”jelasnya.

Dimungkinkan masih ada tersangka lain dari kejahatan ini. Saat ini pihaknya masih melakukan pendalaman dan penyelidikan lebih lanjut berkenaan dengan hal tersebut.
